Manager Communication:  Good Evening today. Not much to report. EL

BAR Staff Observations: Lee was a good mid floating where needed. Darius did a great job batching solo and closing lobby. Miguel set up Trees for a smooth close and helped Darius with one of the frozen's downstairs to learn how they worked. Sean did a great job with the frozen machines. Sean tested each one to make sure it was sealed. 

Special Events? Ryan and Daniel's Baby Shower went really well.  Did a quick pre-shift with Lee and Natasha before the event, and Chenelle was on site to help with set up.  Both bartenders were great at navigating between service tickets and the party, with no hiccups. JH

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: I've noticed recently that we have been getting more guest requests for a bag to put their to go boxes in when leaving a theater.  As servers and runners are busy flipping and prepping theaters, we should be stocking bags behind both bars.  

Since paper bags kind of get lost in the shuffle behind the bar (dry, flat surfaces tend to house glassware), I was wondering if there was the potential for us to add a hook at each bar to hold some, so that bar is always stocked with them.  This would save bartenders, or managers, from having to leave the bar to check server stations or Malkovich during service. JH

Over/Short on Banks: Trees money was $12 short tonight. EL

Maintenance: The ice machine at Trees kept slipping in and out of service today, and apparently did not make any ice overnight.  It would kick back on when reset, but would then turn itself off after a cycle or two.  I asked Eliel to keep an eye on it, and they'll update the blog this evening. JH

Ice was full at end of the night. EL

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
