Saturday 12.17 Jenn/Edgar



Manager Communication: Both holiday screenings sold very well and had pretty brisk services.  Avatar numbers grew throughout the day, but service was well run and seating times were not an issue. JH

The dinner round was on cruise control for the bar. I was able to make cuts when necessary to keep the bar tip pool shallow without impeding service. Not a lot of action at Trees after the films let out. EA

BAR Staff Observations: Andrea and Natasha are brunch pros and set up both bars for busy holiday movies.  I was able to go over menu changes with each of them, as they were unable to attend Thursday's meeting, and they are now all caught up.  

Tevon came in just as Christmas Vacation was seating, and was very helpful in making sure both bars were restocked and set after each service push.  Once Gabrielle arrived at Trees in time for two back-to-back Avatar seatings, I was able to cut openers and floated Tevon downstairs to cover Lobby until closers came in. JH

Following that, I was able to get Tevon out earlier than anticipated as it was evident that both bars had it under control. Gabrielle, Sean and Ian worked seamlessly together for the rest of the Avatar pushes. Everything was continuously stocked and it looks like Sean is starting to find his rhythm. Although both Sean and Ian were scheduled to close, I was able to get Sean out earlier since he'll be in at Noon tomorrow. 

It was great to see the staff again after being gone a while! EA

FOH Staff Observations: Barry and Kaya were great at drink support for Th2's Christmas Vacation this morning. JH

Special Events? Definitely stock Trees with extra Bloody mix tomorrow, as Christmas Vacation sold a fair amount. JH
 
Prep List: Firewalk, lemonade, Michelada, and maybe more Bloody? EA

Pay Outs: $150.00 (Ariel DJ) JH

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: An Amazon package addressed to Event Coordinator arrived. I placed it on the table outside of the MOD Office and emailed Chenelle. JH

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
