Manager Communication: Very mellow brunch today, as we navigate the end of the summer slowdown.  JH

Dinner was easy going too. We had a brief pop for the dinner round of Barbarian, and a decent crowd for the late round of Bodies and Barbarian. EA

BAR Staff Observations: With ticket sales looking lean throughout the day, we offered the cut to all bartenders scheduled after opening.  Chelsea and Gabrielle both took the cut, Tevon elected to remain a mid between both floors, Ian was moved down to Lobby to close, and Lee is now scheduled to close Trees. Schedulefly was updated with new in-times once cuts had been approved. 

Good opens by Jenna and Natasha, with some cleaning getting done behind the bar during the earlier hours of service.  Natasha was able to get out of here around 3:30, and Tevon covered Lobby until Ian arrived. JH

Lee held down trees for the most part with a small of pop of walk-ins. He's been really great about inviting guests back to the bar for the discounted round post movie. Ian closed the bar and was out shortly after 11 after I routed 3/5. 

Sunday looks pretty mellow so I offered a cut to the mids and closers. Jenna took the cut and Schedulefly was updated. Ashley will serve as floating mid. EA
 

Prep List: The Espresso Martini keg should last us the rest of the weekend, so let's hold off on making another keg until at least Monday. 

Placed the Seven Sorrows on the Do Not Batch List in anticipation of the Pearl drink special this coming Friday. JH

Maintenance: Clarifying the Trees dishwasher sink situation mentioned in last night's blog, the sink cannot be used until the pipe is reattached. However, the Trees glasswasher can still be used.  Signage has been posted (as best as it can be in an awkward spot) to let all staff know that they may continue to use the glasswasher at Trees, but to pour nothing down the sink.

Added the broken paper towel dispenser in the Trees Lounge bathroom back to the Maintenance Doc.  It had been marked as fixed, but was not.  Additionally, two toilets in that same bathroom have been marked out of service for a long time, so I added those as well.  I do not know if they are clogged, or if there is some other issue, but I am worried they may be bringing an unpleasant order to that restroom. JH

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
