Friday 9.02 Jenn/Edgar
Manager Communication: Another mellow day with not much picking up speed. Cut the openers shortly after the closers were all in. Was an early cut for Gabrielle as the Trees mid as well as it was clear that we weren't going to see much action afterwards for the night. Lee was able to handle tickets and the guests as they approached the bar.
Jenn and I had Lee come in early for his performance review. He seemed to be very receptive to the feedback, although confided in me later that he was a bit sad and doesn't want to be perceived as someone that's hard to work with. EA
BAR Staff Observations: Bar was opened with ease by our leads (Ashley and Eliel). Everyone worked well together and moods were positive. Ashley spent a bit of time in the back batching and was cut right after she was done. Gabrielle took the first have of the service bar while Lee was guest facing. Both were great. Lee later held it down and closed with a last call around 1220am. EA
Staff Meeting Agenda notes: More of a reminder in the weekly email, but the coffee hopper shouldn't be preloaded if we're not gonna grind the beans. Jenna accidentally double loaded the hopper because she didn't know that it already had beans in it.
Prep List: Should be good to rock tomorrow. EA

Maintenance: Circling back to the maintenance note from the other day regarding the frozen machines. I discovered it was because the o-rings weren't placed correctly on the piece that depresses on the handle. I talked to Darius about it so he's more careful when piecing the machine back together. EA
Porter Notes: I talked to Jameson and walked him through closing again and what is expected from him. Please let me know if he doesn't do the bar floor mats as he had not yet done them by the time I left. EA
