Saturday 08.06 Jenn/Edgar



Manager Communication: Pretty chill brunch afternoon, with Nope leading the way in sales, but both kids movies rising in numbers steadily throughout the day.

Dinner came at us hard with Nope continuing to dominate and Bullet Train climbing to high numbers in theater 2. EA


BAR Staff Observations: Andrea and Tevon had great opens, and needed relatively little assistance throughout the morning.  Natasha was able to help both bars restock once she arrived.  Chelsea got some batching done, and once she wrapped that up around3:45, both Andrea and Tevon were able to get out of here.

Touched base with both openers, and other bartenders throughout the day, about the importance of doing a full open, making sure to keep note of paper goods and Trees cocktail specifics in the early part of the shift so that no one is left scrambling during the dinner rush.  Led to a much smoother brunch to dinner transition this evening. JH

Miguel continues to grow into his role, but it's clear that he tries to do way too much at once and as a result, isn't able to give the best service. I think he gets flustered and just wants to help, but in the end hinders service. I coached him again to take on one role at a time, whether it be front facing, service bar, or stocking/support. 

Both Natasha and Miguel took their bar tests today. I put Miguel's in Nick's box and stressed the importance of learning the recipes as having to grab the binder slows service down and he can't rely only being in service. EA

General cleanliness while working and returning tools, store and pours, call bottles back where they belong.

Prep List: Bloody Mary Concentrate will need to be made this week.  The Seven Sorrows in the walk in needs to be have Plum Bitters added to it before it is ready for service, and those bitters are expected to arrive tomorrow morning.


Pay Outs: $150.00 (Trees Brunch DJ) JH

Maintenance: The middle Low Boy in Lobby bar is flooding and was running a bit warm. I turned it up a bit at close and will monitor it tomorrow. I'm not sure if it's just TOO stocked, or if the compressor is malfunctioning.

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
