Manager Communication: Quiet Monday night, with The Man Who Fell to Earth bringing in a nice crowd to Trees around eight. 

BAR Staff Observations: Ryan and Ashley had no problems opening, and Ryan grabbed knives from the kitchen when he came in for both bars. Ryan was able to get out of here shortly before seven, after helping out with batching. Ashley was great down in Lobby, and Jenna handled Trees guests and service well all evening. 

Since we are making Nut Punch tomorrow, and it leaves such stubborn residue in the bubbler, I had both Ashley and Jenna clean the bubblers that held it over the weekend. 

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: The Coke at Lobby Bar tasted off today, and we eventually just hooked up a new bag. The initial box was just under two weeks away from its best buy date, and we realized a few of our sodas are relatively near their own best buy dates. 

Will work on reorganizing the soda so that we are more on top of FIFO’ing them in the future. 

86ed / counts on items: 86’d Aperol and Nut Punch. We are very low on Maraschino Cherries. All in-house Tecate and Stillwater Saison is behind the bars (both are on a count, to be on the safe side). 

Prep List: Ryan made Blood Simple and a keg of Paloma, which is charged and ready for service. 

Nut Punch will need to be made tomorrow once L’Orgeat arrives. 

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Matthew and Jess dropped off two boxes of liquor bottles, which Ashley brought to the Liquor Room. 

Maintenance: The frozen machine that holds Careful What You Wish For at Trees overfroze and seized up this afternoon, just like the Blood Simple did last Monday. Ryan was able to lower the temperature and get it back in working condition relatively quickly, and it did not impact service. 

However, since this has happened two Mondays in a row, we think it may have to do with the black spiral rotator component, since the frozen machine components are interchangeable. I’ll keep track of it next Sunday night into Monday, to see if it happens again.
