Jesse Sunday 2.2

Manager Communication: A pretty slow day for theatre service. Steady day time ticket sales and a decent dinner round considering it coincided with the Super Bowl being on. The game itself drove in a small but really fun crowd to the theatre and also to the bar. It was a good, easy shift with tight labor cuts.

Customer Comments: Had a couple come in pretty heavily intoxicated to HiRes. I told them we wouldn't be serving them alcohol and they seemed confused but took it well enough. I went downstairs because I knew they had theatre tickets to tell the server to not serve them. They also tried to order at lobby bar and Antonio told them again we wouldn't be serving them. This time they got offended and upset and I spoke to them again. The man left the woman here, who got very upset and just asked to watch the movie they bought tickets for and apologized. I explained we wouldn't server her any drinks but she could, of course, go. She decided not to and took a refund instead.

BAR Staff Observations: William got some batching done, otherwise bartenders just focused on service and did a great job. Cut down to 1 on each floor by 8:30 pm when ticket sales didn't budge.

Had to briefly speak to Antonio tonight about his tone with servers at the bar; Ben came over to service bar and asked about a ticket that wasn't made yet and Antonio sarcastically said back something to the effect of "you servers are always coming up here pestering us". Before I even spoke to Antonio, Ben said he had further interactions with him and he was really amicable and nice towards Ben, but I told Antonio he just has to be aware of how jokes can be perceived and shy away from saying things like that regardless of his intention.

Special Events? Superbowl was tame but very fun and drove in some good energy. In general, it felt great to have the projector on at the bar and even with the mild crowd it added a cool energy. We should work on developing a schedule for things to show on it, even if its just films on with captions in the background and no sound.

Maintenance: The right hand sink in the lobby restroom came off center today, not sure how (whether someone hit it or it just moved from the weight). I was able to move it back into place and it seems sturdy, nothing to indicate it's loose or going to be a problem but something to keep an eye out for.
