Benjamin Wednesday 2.19



Manager Communication:
Rebecca texted me that she had food poisoning this morning.  I told her to stay home and that I could work through the dinner round, and checked in with Gil to make sure he was okay with closing the doors and doing the last couple things.  He said it was fine.

Dylan texted me around 10 to say that he injured his neck, and I reached out to everyone to get the shift covered.  Malka came through!   I let Dylan know that if he is still hurting, to seek coverage for tomorrow ASAP.

There was no prep shift today, but Ryan got through a bit.  He couldn't get through more because Malka started feeling sick around 5:30, so me and Ryan got through the important prep, and he got behind the bar so we could send her home.  It shouldn't be too bad tomorrow.


BAR Staff Observations: Everyone is getting ailments, but they are all great.

Sick Leave/ Call outs: Rebecca and Dylan have both been added to the Sick Leave calendar.


Prep List: Finish TE Lawrence syrup, keg TE Lawrence, Pineapple mole bitters, lapsang suze, keg Two Lane black top, Piscean Dreams Syrup
During service: Dodgers, Who's having a good time?, C'est Moi?
Can wait til Friday: Hibiscus syrup, Arbol Tequila

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Southern came today.

Maintenance: Coke came back and we have a brand new compressor. It's in the maintenance calendar.

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
