Happy Leap DAY!

Slow day gave way to a decent night.  With so much kids programming, drink rushes were light, and food definitely starred tonight.

Was able to keep cuts close to the vest throughout and get lots of batching done.

Down to 1.75 bottles lime juice, which should be fine, as Pink Panther and maybe hibiscus lime are the only things that need to be batched.   May need to borrow 1 bottle from kitchen tomorrow.

Towards the end of the night, a guest came in from outside to tell Vanessa that the Municipal Trash Can at the corner of 14th St. and Prospect Park West was on fire.  I grabbed 2 quarts of water and put it out, as there was not much in it.  Someone walking by had already called the fire department, and when they got here I told them what had happened.  They looked in the can to make sure it wasn't still smoldering, and told me "Good Job."  I assume we won't be part of their report, as it was a municipal can.

Customer Comments:
I had 2 couples buy tickets to The Photograph for yesterday.  I gave both sets passes and explained our distributor policies, and informed them that they would need to purchase tickets as the passes were good for Monday to Thursday.

A woman at 1424 for 8:15 Parasite complained at the bar that the service was disruptful.   Everything she explained seemed to be just normal service.  I listened and informed her that we pride ourselves on offering restaurant style service.  She told me Alamo doesn't buss during the film and that we should be more like them.  I thanked her for her input.  When I went to the theater, Tyler and Max Rahms both informed me that she had stuck her leg up to impede their service, and Max said he was tripped a bit, and then she scoffed at him.  He wasn't sure at the time if it was deliberate, but it seems it was based on other behavior.  The email attached to the order is exinne_8@hotmail.com and the name is Ekin Ergen.

BAR Staff Observations:  Great team on.  Everything went smoothly.

FOH Staff Observations: Solid work, only had to really push for glassware once.

Prep List: Pink Panther, maybe Hibiscus lime soda, but good on everything to start.

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
