Manager Communication:
I pulled out the low-boys downstairs with Amedu and we got behind nice and clean and dry.  It wasn't as bad as I was expecting.  Probably a once-a-quarter task.
 
I (Benjamin) have batched about 40 cocktails worth of the Jojo Rabbit.  Rob is testing rapid infusion in corny keg, and will report back later tonight.   Doing a larger batch all at once would be much easier.  I only had enough dill for the amount I made, but the kitchen has more dill coming tomorrow.

Deep stock lists, and Jojo Rabbit are in the books.

I talked to MOD's today, but as I was switching out the books, I realized we will need to print cards for the Beyond for the BHFF tomorrow.  It is the last event.

The prep shift was cut today because  Jenn was sick (see Benjamins note below), but I was able to get a lot of prep stuff during the shift. We should, with the exception of a few things that I'll list below, be good to get us through the weekend.

There seems to be a bit of confusion over how we want the blood oranges cut for the BHFF cocktail. Its in the book as wheels, but some bartenders have been cutting them differently.

Customer Comments:
Lots of people during the 4:45 Parasite came out to exchange tickets to other seats and were confused about our new system.  I explained that we had to exchange the tickets so that someone else didn't purchase the seats.

Sick Leave/ Call outs:  Jenn texted me at 9 30 that she would appreciate if I could help get her shift covered.  She could come in, but really needed a mental health day.  I added it to the sick leave calendar.

Special Events?  Brooklyn Horror Film Festival.


Prep List: 
Syrups/infusions
-finish the fake lemon. The Oleo is on the prep counter
-Hibiscus Simple
(By Weekend)
-we have 8Quarts of Ginger Syrup, but will probably need to make more by the Sat
-Chili de Arbol Tequila

Batches
-Last Laugh will need to be made early on. I finished the Pepper Maraschino late tonight.
-We're selling a lot of the Rain Falling on the Lawn, so more will probably need to be batched tomorrow.
-We have a backup keg, but will probably kick the current Them Apples Keg tomorrow.

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
We ran out of Serrano peppers today. We needed to make a batch of the Pepper Maraschino, so we subbed Jalepeno for part of the batch.

Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
