Jesse Tuesday 6.4



Manager Communication: Steady night and a slower than usual but good night of trivia sales as well. We got some walk in business to build on a decent starting ticket sales count; gave us good pushes in most theatres and with thin but well handled staffing, we rocked it out. Ryan W. was sick so I sent him home at 8:30 pm and Dylan and Malka held down trivia. Dylan stuck around a bit after trivia in case we got walk ins from the Concert Series but we did not pick up much business. Had Eliel shut down at the new closing times and then out by 11:15 pm with a strong pre-closing breakdown from him. Dylan was done at 11:15 pm as well, just one bartender on after that. Kept a small post-trivia crew at the bar. No issues.

Had one group in theatre 2 tonight seem problematic. They tried to order booze, Maddy asked for ID and they asked if they could show their phone pictures. He said no and they got defensive. The second guests also ordered and when asked for ID, gave a blatant fake. Maddy told them we wouldn't be serving them, I backed him up. They ordered food and were fine for the remainder.

BAR Staff Observations: Malka closed with oversight upstairs due to Ryan leaving and did a really nice job. Eliel was solo downstairs and as always, great with guests and far more efficient setting up today.

FOH Staff Observations: Everyone was really on it tonight.

Sick Leave/ Call outs: Ryan W sent home sick. He's off tomorrow and will check in.

Special Events? Trivia! Smaller group than usual but lots of food and drink and a nice crowd left after trivia as well.

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Baldor Thursday, Coke Thursday

Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
