Sunday 5.5 Jesse



Manager Communication: A busy Sunday brunch followed by continued strong sales for the mid day shows and 7s. Theatre 1's AC issue hit us hardest going in to the 7s but we handed out some passes for the guests that endured the heat at the prior show and Gerard, Rachel and I stood in the lobby alerting guests going in for the 6:15 pm. Almost all decided to keep their tickets and we had cut the humidity by the time the show started and cooled it down by the middle of the film. We really only tapered off for the late shows, but it was a big drop due to the weather and it not being opening weekend. Allowed us to run strong and tight on labor, and then make aggressive cuts. Went to 3 up and 2 down as soon as the closers got in, went to 1 bartender in lobby and 2 in HiRes after 8:30 pm. Rerouted lobby bar at 9:45 after 3/5/7 preshows and had Lobby bar shut down by 10:45 pm. No issues, good stock for the day and plenty of consolidating time followed by small batching here and there to set us up for the week. A Coke BIB burst in the back for HiRes. We had just replaced lobby and had no back up, so we used bottles of Coke and have 4 coming tomorrow. Just a real pain to clean up, lost about 1/3 of a BIB but got to burn through the rest of our bottled product. No service impact.

BAR Staff Observations: Caleb and William did a nice job holding it down just the two of them for the late rounds with a nice bar crowd. Malka also did an excellent job tonight not rushing out but organizing the back and batching smart.

86ed / counts on items: Orchids, Coke

Prep List: We may need a small Wilsons batch, we sold several and stock is low, trying to keep that tight for the menu change Thursday. Otherwise, not much needed to get things rolling tomorrow. Need tonic syrup, ingredients en route for tomorrow.

 Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Baldor and Coca Cola tomorrow, order sheets updated for the kitchen.

Maintenance: Was able to get the handle back on the door in theatre 3. Obviously, Palco will be back to handle HVAC tomorrow.

Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
