Sunday 5.26 Jesse



Manager Communication: Strong business all day, today. Our ticket sales were well over Saturday, with close to sold out mid day shows and then fully slammed for the 7s and some late shows. Booksmart keeps killing it; already sold out a few times tomorrow as well.  Having a drink runner compared to how things went tray building/drink running yesterday was a huge difference and help tonight. Well handled and super efficient drink service. Bars got nice and busy both for brunch (had a large group take up many tables) and stayed that way through 10:30 pm. Overall a very busy day with consistent drink rushes throughout. Had to hope behind a few times when the bar was 1-2 deep but otherwise everyone was on it.

Customer Comments: Had a guest return the Alfredo Garcia saying that it wasn't sweet enough. Also had a group of a few guests waiting for the 9:25 pm Booksmart complain about how long they had to stand in line, but I responded that they would at least be guaranteeing themselves good seats and that they'd be sitting shortly. They said they understood, just hated having to stand.

Finally, had a table complain about having the line in HiRes tonight. They had full dinner at the bar and a table and said that being crowded with peoples "asses in their faces" was a really unpleasant way to end their meal. They closed out after that, I apologized and bought them a round.

BAR Staff Observations: Caleb killed it on service tonight. Rebecca was a rockstar doing prep at the end of the night to get us set up for the long day tomorrow. Honestly, everyone was in top form today and we needed them to be.

FOH Staff Observations: Sarah Ahmad and Mel deserve huge props for their drink running support and holding down 4/6 tonight really effectively. Also, Liv caught some people trying to fraud us with Dine and Dash and earned herself a drink token and huge praise for avoiding a major loss.

86ed / counts on items: Low on limes, Susan is picking some up tomorrow as Baldor does not deliver.

Prep List: Effectively did a prep shift tonight and had Caleb watch Lobby bar while Rebecca did batching and syrups for tomorrow so we can roll right in to service.

Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
