Manager Communication: Very good service tonight, busy on both floors. The event fleshed out some well sold theatres downstairs to give us a good flow and the upstairs bar kept Ben and Jay busy with strong walk ins getting us to nearly sold theatre 1 & 2 for the 7s and a great 9:30 pm Us as well. Pulp Fiction had an issue in the last 3-4 minutes of the film; the sound and picture cut out. It was right before they walk out of the diner, most guests had seen the movie and did not mind. For those that stayed, we got it back up and running. Closed lobby bar after the final film went in, Ash ended up staying as Malka had a death in the family and left early.
We had two walk outs tonight, same exact MO. Guests racked up a substantial tab with DnD, left before the movie was over and then the card was declined for being an invalid number. They seem to be either Gift Cards that they load with enough to cover tickets but then get declined for more money or cards they are using to pay for tickets and then suspending/canceling.
Customer Comments: Pulp Fiction had our best energy and crowd response to an event in a while. Guests were cheering and clapping for opening lines/credits and throughout the film. Nearly the entire theatre populated HiRes after the movie as well and complimented food and bev.
BAR Staff Observations: Major props to Ben and Jay for balancing a heavy flow of tickets for the 7s with a steadily busy bar, only had to jump behind for a bit during the rush and when Pulp Fiction let out to support, otherwise no issues with 2 bartenders.
FOH Staff Observations: Emily and Sam did an amazing job on the dinner, as did Maria who took a row. They bussed as they went and were quick and efficient. Kunsang as always was a delight, coming to run drinks and assist a packed theatre 2 when it sat.
