Sunday 8.14 Eliel/Edgar



Manager Communication: Pretty mellow day overall. Eliel cut the openers before I got in since the only big movie worth noting was Sundays on Fire. Afterwards, afternoon and dinner rounds remained roughly the same. EA 

BAR Staff Observations: 

Jenna and Natasha opening Lobby and Trees, respectively. Everything was tightly stocked and they were off early. Tevon and Miguel came in for the mids, but were also cut relatively early. I did have Miguel do a lot of cleaning and to get acclimated to the daily sidework sheet in the lobby. So cleaned out the bottoms of the lowboys and cleaned the panels. Ashley organized Trees and got a lot of housekeeping done. EA

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 

The Bar staff isn't labeling wines or milks after opening. We should instruct them about getting into this habit for quality assurance, but also to have them being more aware of DOH. EA

Prep List: 

There is a truffle popcorn syrup in the walk in that needs to be strained tomorrow. EA

MISC:

We need to add soda and garnish modifiers for Pinhook Rye in MobileBytes. I don't have access to the backend yet if I'm not mistaken. EA

There is a thermometer missing from the right lowboy in Trees. I couldn't find one in the liquor storage room, but wasn't sure if we had an extra one laying around anywhere. EA

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
