Manager Communication:
Other Half delivered today, so the D IPA is back on.  The driver came in right behind the Interboro guys, so the kitchen thought he was with them.  He just left the beer downstairs and no one signed for them.  I was radioed a bit later that it had been left there.

Customer Comments:
A bit of a full moon tonight regarding customer interactions...

A very frightened woman came in tonight off the street saying that her boyfriend had thrown her to the ground in the subway station right outside of the theatre. She had a brief interaction with Benjamin and Ian in the lobby and then ran upstairs to Hi Res where she spoke to Ryan W. He immediately called for a manager. I came up, and she asked to borrow my phone so that she could call her friend to pick her up because she was very frightened about her safety.  She said she absolutely did not want to call the cops because this was "very unlike him". I took her to the Mezz so she could call her friend who then answered and said that he would be there in about 10 min. He didn't show up until about an hour later. I stayed with her as much as possible while she looked out the window to make sure her boyfriend was not coming into the theatre. The whole situation was very strange. To my knowledge, she got home safely as she promised me that her friend was going to take her home. Both Benjamin and I suspected that she may have been on something and she admitted to me that her boyfriend was on Xanax when the incident occurred.

Alice had a couple in Th. 7 at the end of the night who had a $150 Dnd decline. I tried running his physical card numerous times as well and I also tried to enter it manually on both the EMV terminal as well as the Ipad. Everything declined. Harry and I stepped outside with him while he called his bank and it was verified that he had enough money in his account. He mentioned he was traveling, and that that was perhaps why the payment wasn't going through. Regardless, neither he nor the woman he was with had any other form of payment to cover the bill. We got him to fill out a CC authorization form so that we could run the payment again later once he was able to speak to a customer service agent at his bank tomorrow.

Hiring/Training:
Showed Dylan the ropes of Wednesday prep shifts.  He got the frozens looking noice!  And then I went over what to be looking for on the prep shift in general.

Special Events?
Game night in Hi-Res went well. They were pleasant as always.

The Etsy event in Th 6 brought us around an extra $70 in sales before and after the event.

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
Skurnik delivered 3 cases of Bordeaux tonight. They weren't delivered around 8pm tonight. 

Maintenance:
For some reason, we could only get hot water in the Hi-Res women's bathroom tonight. It didn't seem to affect any other place in the building. Gil mentioned that he knows there's a valve somewhere that can be accessed to fix it, but he wasn't sure where and neither was I.
