Saturday 07.20 Jenn/Dana
Manager Communication:
Steady morning, with plenty of well-sold theaters in the first round. Second round mellowed out in the bigger theaters, but nothing that was too steep. Trees had a few waves of crowds throughout the day, which kept the bar busy. JH
BAR Staff Observations:
Darius, Gabriel and Lydia were great in trees, pushing through a lot of busy rounds with tight flips. A team energy. -DL
FOH Staff Observations:
I must say I'm a fan of Zahara. She was working with a good confidence when running drinks today. -DL

Nicole came in at 5 to do a trail with Dana this evening. Myself and Dana spoke with her a bit about the responsibilities of the role, and emphasized that while it is bar-focused, the majority of her shifts would be focused on in-service management as opposed to administrative work. She got in just before dinner round began to kick off at Trees, so hopefully she has the opportunity to see service in action and get a feel for NPP. JH
Nicole's trail went really well. She had a lot of great questions about the day to day operations and was more than eager to try her hand at hopping in where possible. She was a bit too anxious in certain cases when seeing the rush from Th1 and Th2 and gauging the pace of service. However, I think she would be a great fit for the Assistant Bar Manager position and some of the bartenders were also very found of her attitude and approach. We told her we would contact here by Tuesday/Wednesday to discuss moving on. -DL
Staff Meeting Agenda notes:
Staff Meeting Agenda notes:
We are very low on cookbooks to sell, and I was unable to find more in the projection booth behind Lobby Bar. I asked Dana to give it a look as well to see if he could find anything I missed, but just a heads up that our book stock may be dwindling. JH
86ed / counts on items:
Let's keep an eye on how much Prosecco we have left at the end of tonight. We may need to put a count in the system before brunch tomorrow. JH
Prep List:
Prep List:
Natasha was able to catch us up on some light batching once Lydia got in, and I knocked out a double batch of PST Concentrate. JH
FWWM and Tornado Wrangler should be the focus for batching tomorrow. -DL

Maintenance:
Had an issue with the front gate this morning when it was time to open doors. It was not responsive to any of the buttons on the wall, so I called down Nathaniel to help. We let guests know that we were having some issues raising the gate, but that they would be able to see their movie.
Gil suggested we check out the utility box on the wall above the buttons, but there was nothing in there. Nathaniel was able to pull the switch over the air curtain and reset that, and that seemed to work for the gate, too. I went outside to listen and see if the buttons were activating any part of the mechanics, and when Nathaniel pressed the button the gate rose without issue. JH
