Saturday 3/11 Eliel and Edgar



Manager Communication: Pretty good start to the day. Busy but th 1 and 2 opened well enough after we opened that we were over prepared for it. Great trees crowd. Brunch Club was fun. EL

It was a nonstop afternoon into close on both floors. TH 7 sold out all day with a lot of the other theaters either near sold out, or sold out completely as well. Trees itself stayed pretty busy all day as well with people coming early to hang out or stay after their movie for a drink. It made for a very busy, and steady day. EA

BAR Staff Observations: Great opens by Natasha at Lobby and Andrea at Trees. Maya and Tevon were great middle relief. Natasha got out of here after Tevon batched and Natasha restocked. Andrea was able to leave after Gabrielle arrive. 

Dinner was busy from the get go, but we were able to get everyone fed during family meal before the nonstop rush. Matthew was incredibly helpful with jumping between both floors to supplement service and help with all the rushes. Maya held it down in lobby and was great about radioing for help if she needed assistance. After it calmed down enough at Trees, I was able swing Matthew back down to relieve Maya. 

Tevon, Gabrielle, and Ian handled the bulk of the service upstairs. With all of pretty much all the rounds from the afternoon on selling very well if not selling out, they quickly got into a groove of stocking and executing throughout all the rounds with help from Matthew. Gabrielle and Ian closed down Trees and reset with no problem. EA

FOH Staff Observations: Servers and runners were hustling today. Glassware was very tight today, but they not only ran glasses down as quickly as possible, but also put them straight into the machine if they saw space. Shout out to Rebecca for keeping the trays moving and Isobel for the glassware assist. EA

Prep List: We'll need more Diamond Dame and F This Franchise at some point tomorrow. I bought more Tart cherry juice and it's in the liquor storage on the bottom row near the tomato juice. Firewalk, Holy Mountain, Lemonade, and Coffee & Cigarettes. EA

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:  Still waiting on that US Foods direct delivery order. Not sure if they deliver on Sundays, but something to still look out for. EA

Maintenance: Following up on Jenn's note about the coffee machines, both of them resumed leaking and I contacted Ciro right away this morning. He will be in on Monday again to replace the bypass valves this time as they hadn't arrived yet at the time of his last visit. EA

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. Manager Communication: Not much really happened tonight. Slow night in Tree's. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Gabrielle took the early cut since Tevon was willing to stick it out. Smooth sailing with no major kids films popping off.-LB I got Tevon out of here shortly after my arrival around 5. I then got Patrick out around 6:45. I was able to get Matthew out after the rush settled and he was out at 9:30. Jeshua closed Lobby and Fran closed in Tree's. - AB2 Special Events?  Team America World Police. Prep List: Natasha cranked out a big batch list: double Jurassic, Tang simple, infinity, lemonades, Moneypenny keg, bloody, she couldn't make bloody concentrate since kitchen didn't get garlic delivered-LB I batched a - Margarita - AB2 Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: US Foods, Baldor coming tomorrow.  Manhattan arriving tomorrow Maintenance: I put the faces back on both ice machines they both seem happy. Manager Communication: GATE UPDATE: The gate was weird coming down today. It opened yesterday without issue. But it kind of needs to be put up then down. It is a few inches from the ground, safe enough for us, but definitely something to keep an eye on. -LB Opened the building with Wyatt - No Budge was sold out but chill, same with the first couple screenings of Minecraft. Other than one absolutely dreadful guest (more on that below), everything was super smooth. - IP Ordered Green goblin since Theater 2 was having a drain back up. -LB Having Trees open to the public during this party is fine, however I think we need to avail the Trees cocktails to those customers but have to mitigate those being ordered when it is this busy. -LB I tested the Brix for To infinity. It is 15. I think the issue is the coconut milk (oil) and other ingredients have different freezing temps. I think if we push the mix every few hours it will be fine, but happy to adjust recipe if needed. -LB Ordered 2 cases ...
