Manager Communication: What a day, boy oh boy.  We started strong today. Pretty busy all the way through, then it got VERY BUSY.

There was a disturbance in the lobby by a neerdowell who bypassed Kelly at the door, wouldn't wear a mask, wouldn't show proof of vaxination and wanted to wax poetic about his constitutional rights.  He was loud and threw around a few different derogatory terms. We asked him to leave, but he declined. Harry called the police. Harry and the neerdowell spoke at length until the guy left because "he didn't want his dick sucked by no man". He must've been in the lobby for 15-20 minutes. I just directed traffic around him. The cops came about 10-15 minutes after he left and I spoke to them outside. They said to call if he returned, but he didn't. 

Customer Comments:  One customer complained to me about servers being in front of them too much. I tried offering them passes but she said she didn't want to come back and just walked away mid sentence. 

I had to issue one refund to people who said they weren't going to be around for a pass and insisted. 

BAR Staff Observations: I got Tevon to own expo today.  Told them to run a zone offense and that helped out.  Tevon and Ivan made a good team and helped Natasa along.  Isi held it down at lobby bar for the first half of the day.  I helped down there as much as needed.  

The 2nd shift was way busier. Ivan and Ryan held down Trees Lounge with some help from me at expo after the service well's soda gun fell and knocked a few glasses into breaking. They weren't sure if the glass fell in the ice well but we burnt both down during a massive rush. Good thing I'd asked them to set up the middle well earlier. That came in clutch.  Nonetheless we got through that rush unscathed. 

Could definitely have used an extra swing body today. 

Zoe did a wonderful job today, but even at her best, it was a big undertaking today. She called for help whenever she needed it. That part is very important, some people call for help when it's very bad, but she had the oversight to call before it became a big problem. 

FOH Staff Observations:  RM means well and wants to help but I had to ask her to stop helping during that rush with the brunt ice wells.  Sometimes it's intrusive. A lot of the staff had never seen a day like today. I think getting your butt kicked at work is good for the long run. Now they know what is possible. They all did pretty good though. Nathaniel might need a bit more instruction on our system. He needed a lot of help and I felt like he was very challenged by the day. 

Hiring/Training: Natasa is coming along nice & steady. She's good on our drinks but needs overall cocktail knowledge and just hands on experience.  She was a lot of help today!  Even with her little bar knowledge, she still knows how to get her hands dirty and help out wherever needed.

Prep List: Need Simple Syrup and Grapefruit syrup. Need a Paloma and Old fashioned keg. 

Pay Outs: $5 Lightbulbs

Lost & Found?: One person lost a debit card, one lost a wallet we couldn't find. A little girl lost a harry potter wand and we found it for her, but not without promoting tomorrow's show. 

Mobilebytes Issues: Need an Aperol button.  The printer for 4/6 said "lost connection"
