Monday / 7.7.25 / Ariel & Lauren / NPP Bar

Manager Communication: Fire alarm guys came in and fixed the lobby beeping - AB2 The Trees drawer kept getting stuck closed. I pulled it out and there was easily $2 in change, plus paper clips, litmus tests all stuck on the side. I did a fairly good job, but keeping the paperclips coming back to the office will help this issue.-LB BAR Staff Observations: Jeshua got a little flustered after his accidental DOH button hit. There was some confusion with some folks at Trees ordering a bunch of food. I will investigate this with him later once it all is over with. Basically, he took their order for food, repeated it back (what he thought it was) and they said yes. They did not correct in the moment. Later Jeshua went down to the kitchen, but I thought he had handled it.  They had still been waiting so we rushed a fish sandwich for them.  I comped them two popcorns and a float in the theater they were in after they had dinner at Trees, I also gave them some passes. They were very un...

Sunday 07.06.2025 Ian/Lauren

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. I worry he would not hear us if we walkie him. -LB Customer Comments: I half-comped a salad for a guest that was generous enough to move so two people could sit together, I didn't note that on the check, by accident. It was i...

Saturday 07.05.25 Jenn/Gus

Manager Communication: Lots of coverage. Jared was here late, Dion closed.  -GS Customer Comments: BAR Staff Observations: Mellow morning, so Matthew and Maya held down the first round without issue.  Gabrielle came in just as the initial Do the Right Thing service push was settling down, and I was able to get Maya out of here once Greg clocked in. JH We had a call out at the bar, team really was awesome and rallied.  FOH Staff Observations:  Really great group of openers on today, Saturday brunch ran like a dream. JH Obi & Alayna are gems Sick Leave/ Call outs: Fran  Prep List: Should be good for tomorrow I made  2 Lemonade 1 ice tea for the bars, 1 for backup Old Fashioned Keg Sitting on tons of Lemonade & Firewalk. Manager Communication: Not much really happened tonight. Slow night in Tree's. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Gabrielle took the early cut since Tevon was willing to stick it out. Smooth sailing with no major kids films popping off.-LB I got Tevon out of here shortly after my arrival around 5. I then got Patrick out around 6:45. I was able to get Matthew out after the rush settled and he was out at 9:30. Jeshua closed Lobby and Fran closed in Tree's. - AB2 Special Events?  Team America World Police. I put signs reminding people to not put anything on the top of the machin...

Thursday 07.03 Jenn/Gus

Manager Communication: Smooth sailing through the first round, which rolled right in to a bustling second round.  Trees also had a pretty good crowd at the bar and tables that began to pick up right around six. JH Customer Comments: BAR Staff Observations:  Patrick and Gabrielle both opened each bar without issue, and navigated the first round solo.  The second round kicked off with a couple of busy service pushes, but both bars were able to flow back and forth between guests and the service pass.  I spent more of the second round by the service pass at Trees, and Patrick and Matthew made light work of a full bar and a thirsty Jurassic World crowd. JH FOH Staff Observations: Rebecca Rules Prep List: I made a ton of stuff. Natasha is coming in today to do a batching shift as her plans changed. Pay Outs: Lost & Found?: Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:  Baldor & CW Distributing arrived. JH Maintenance:  Work on the Mezz is done and we were able to hav...

Wednesday 7/2/2025 Ian/Lauren/Jenn

Manager Communication:  Ian and I investigated the Lobby soda stack situation. I think that the syrup on the floor was a combo of the coke that leaked last week not adequately being mopped up with a combo of the water that splashed down from the changing of the filters. Ian got down and scrubbed lots of gross stuff out. I tried to dry it out as much as possible so we have a clean baseline. The Trees Squeegee was down there and a brush with no attached handle was stuffed in the corner, we tossed it. I think now that it is clear and clean it will be easier to tell if there is an active leak. The Diet Coke bag is not leaking so it is not that.   I went back down a few hours later to check since it seemed a little wet, could be condensation from ice well?  I took out all of the boxes. I sprayed all the tubes with windex and nothing stood out as leaking. So if you see moisture just try to determine if it is sugary.  -LB Trees stayed full throughout most of the night ...
